. "Love Camp 7" (1969), a grind-house "roughie" sexploitation movie from the prolific team Lee Frost (director) and Bob Cresse (writer). Generally credited as the first Nazi exploitation (or Nazisploitation) film. Cresse even hams it up in a rare acting role as the Commandant. It is also a prototype for the later women in prison (or WiP) genre. This has all the classic ingredients -- constant nudity, degradation, sexual slavery/assault, whipping, bondage, depravity,...

. Ed Wood goes out in a blaze of crazy glory in his last acting role (a funny bit part as a gas station attendant glimpsed 3:17). He wrote the script (aka "Five Loose Women") to this sexploitation skinflick which harkens back to his "The Violent Years" (1956) and countless girl-gang novels. (He only filmed one more script after this before passing away.) As usual, the dialog is a hoot, with memorable lines like "Good Christ, a lesbian!" Co-starring porn actress...

. "The Brick Dollhouse" (1967) is an obscure "nudie" sexploitation film that played in adult grind-house venues. A murder mystery format is used as a framing device for setting up many flashbacks to scenes of decadent partying and lots of nudity. This is part of a series of 1960s exploitation clips, trailers, and stag films on this archive. Disclaimer: I do not own these clips. . "The Head Mistress" (1968) is a low-budget, independent sexploitation film written and produced by David F. Friedman and directed by Byron Mabe. It stars Marsha Jordan, Victor Brandt, and Julia Blackburn. One of many "nudie-cutie" grind-house films Friedman made in the '60s and '70s. Part of a series of colorful costume dramas he wrote based on literary sources. The story, set in 17th century Italy, is based on two stories from Boccaccio's "The Decameron". Filmed...

. "Nympho: A Woman's Urge" (1965) directed by Amin Q. Chaudhri, is a better-than-average soft-core sexploitation film. This adults-only grind house tale of "searing passion and forbidden love" stars Maude Ferguson as Laura, a young girl from Upstate New York who just can't get enough. "All My Men" (1966). Kim (Jackie Richards) is a dirty, dirty whore -- and proud of it. A hardened prostitute, who dabbles as a dominatrix, relates her deviant experiences with...

Camera tests and eerie graveyard footage that did not make the cut for "I Do Not Exist" but was too cool to throw away. I always shoot five times more than what is used in the final edit. Perhaps some of this lost film will find a place in a future surreal dream montage.

. "Dreamgirl", aka "Stacey Walker, Dreamgirl" (c. 1966) is a strange little film by producer David F. Friedman that was released as a short. But it also appears to be an excerpt or alternate take from "A Smell of Honey, a Swallow of Brine" (1966) with legit actor Sam Melville. A sado-masochistic fantasy of a guy dreaming about flogging a chained up Stacey Walker. Then it becomes a nightmare with Walker as a cruel dominatrix and the guy bound to a post. Walker also...

Inspired by graffiti on a derelict structure, the initial concept (an eerie, surreal mood piece) was discarded as this evolved into a more personal vision. As time slips away we gradually become ghosts who haunt the past, searching for a way back. This is a visual poem on the artifacts of memory, childhood, regrets, and the Great Beyond. All that in just over ten minutes. (Plus a little semi-secret inside joke perceptible by only the most astute and experienced YouTube connoisseurs du vlog.)

. Bizarre montage from four 1960s exploitation flicks (believed to be public domain). All show the fetishistic and perverse influence of the underground "roughie" film genre, in particular "Olga's House of Shame". A private (now public) video intro to a mixed DVD I made for a friend as a birthday present. Everything was going well until an intrusive half-naked Paris Hilton had to butt in and steal the spotlight. (Clips taken from a public domain home movie - not the notorious sex video.)

"Honey" (1966) directed by Jerry Denby, stars Peggy Steffans. She made several more sexploitation films. Under the name Cleo Nova, she did The Love Merchant, The Sex Cycle, et al. As Marie Lamont she was in the Michael Findlay "Flesh" trilogy: A Taste of Flesh, The Touch of her Flesh, and The Curse of Her Flesh. This film evokes a sleazy under-the-boardwalk carny atmosphere and was apparently filmed at Coney Island, New York. This has all the expected ingredients: simulated...

A lost interview from 1967 conducted by KGW-TV, a news station in Portland, Oregon. This was rediscovered in 2010 in their film archives. Nimoy talks at length about playing Mr. Spock on "Star Trek", then in its second season. Unfortunately, he does not shed any light on what compelled him to record "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins".

A trio of key scenes from "Rent-A-Girl" (1965), one of the better low-budget New York "roughies" from the '60s. Director William L. Rose was also the cinematographer for "The Defilers" (1965), the classic Hollywood roughie from sexploitation producer David F. Friedman and director Lee Frost. (Clips from that film are also on this archive.) This film is about a sleazy New York modeling agency that rents out girls to perverted clients with "special needs"....

Ed Wood's horror/sci-fi hybrid "Plan 9 from Outer Space" (1959) can be frustrating for Vampira fans as she has no lines and only 5 minutes of screen time. So, here are all her moments cobbled together in the same way Wood assembled Plan 9 from different sources. It's an alternate mini-movie, if you will, starring Vampira. (Unfortunately, the mpeg conversion process always darkens the image for some reason.) Background info: In the early '50s, statuesque Maila Nurmi was a model for...

Highlights from Michael Findlay's "The Lusting Hours" (1967), a pseudo-documentary exploitation film about prostitutes, transvestites, homosexuals, and S&M. First, Janet Banzet at a fetish photo session, then a drag queen dominatrix humiliates a submissive slave (perhaps the first film to show this side of the gay subculture), followed by two artfully made montages: a disturbed fetish photographer whipping a prostitute and a final blend of scenes and out takes. Findlay went on to...

First chapter of a multi-part 1950s era peep-show called "The Nude Dude". Filmed outdoors on a Western set with a shapely cowgirl wearing only a hat and a strategically placed gun belt. This was made to be seen in a coin-operated machine with a viewing slot. At the end of each chapter one has to drop another dime to continue the story. In the days before full-length porn films were shown in theaters, these were set up in adult bookstores. The unknown model seen here is made up to look...

A key scene from "Motel Confidential" (1967) that illustrates the shift in sexploitation films from voyeuristic comedies to hard-edged "roughies" that followed in the wake of "Olga's House of Shame", et al. This film is a typical, light-hearted nudie-cutie about various couples shacking up at a motel. However, this one scene of a con artist couple is from another world entirely. A sexual sadist gives his girlfriend a belt whipping and hand spanking as foreplay. An...

Edited highlights from a late '60s bondage S&M film-loop. These 8-12 minute silent shorts were available in 8mm or 16mm and sold mostly by mail order from ads placed in girlie magazines. This one is a bit unusual as it's set in a basement dungeon at a time when most of these were shot in living rooms or bedrooms. Here a mistress binds and gags her female slave. Interesting use of a metal bed-frame and a ball and chain as neck weight. Ends with somewhat humorous fake spanking with a canoe...

. Of possible interest to film students and bad film buffs, two versions (TV and theater) of a scene from a cheesy TV-movie. "Nightmare in Badham County" was first shown on television in 1976 to capitalize on the then-popular women-in-prison exploitation trend. "The Seven Year Itch" was a racy Broadway play adapted to film by Billy Wilder in 1955. Much of the play's risque content was removed or toned down for the film. Here are two lost scenes. Dialog was rewritten for the famous subway grate sequence. Censorship also led to a surprisingly mild bathtub scene being cut. Nevertheless, the film was a huge box office smash and made an A-list star out of Marilyn Monroe.

Then a brief fade-in to the program. This was back in the days when an ad break was only 60 seconds. Time for one commercial or two short ones. Prime example of a late-1960s (non-porn) fetish stag reel. A latex-clad mistress punishes four slave girls with a rope flogger. Non-stop whipping and spanking action plus obligatory bondage. A bit more serious and consistent in tone than most of the semi-comic shorts in this sub-genre. This public domain film loop has been re-released on "Bizarro Sex Loops #15".

"Love is a Four Letter Word", aka The Love Girls (1966) appears to be the first full-length film to show a fetishistic sorority initiation ceremony. The hazing includes bondage, blindfolds, ice rubbing, and hard spanking with a big sorority paddle. A sexploitation gem by Bob Cresse and R. L. Frost. They specialized in harsh grindhouse "roughies", but this obscure film is more of a dark psychological study of repressed desire.

Short stag reel, circa late-1950s. A woman's nightmare of being punished by a jealous girlfriend. No strap, just bondage and non-stop hand spanking. Similar to Irving Klaw's films and "Co-Ed Secrets" (also at this site). Part of a long series I'm doing on the history of fetish films.

A very attractive bound girl struggles in various positions. Nice use of very '60s leopard pillows and wooden pole. Posting this because it's notable for its cinematic scene transitions. The only stag loop I've seen that shows any camera skill or attention to detail. There's even a nice little ending bit. This was edited down from a much longer reel but includes all the zoom-in, fade out scene changes. This is a public domain film-loop released on the "Bizarro Sex Loops 20"...

A brief, unholy meditation on '70s-'80s era nunsploitation. Leave it to the Italian/Spanish/Mexican cinema to transmute Catholic guilt into sexual fetishism involving naughty nuns, masochism, sadism, whipping and lesbianism. (That's a lot of -isms.) As part of my study on the history of cinema fetishism, here are four typically over-the-top scenes from some nunsploitation films. These are: (1) Satánico Pandemonium (Mexico, 1975) (2) The Sinful Nuns of Saint Valentine (Italy, 1974) (3) Images...

Bettie and popular model June King in energetic cat-fight wresting scene with a good deal of spanking added. Interesting, almost arty, opening shot of just their feet (Klaw had a lot of foot fetish customers). Most likely the same film where Bettie seriously injured her knee which led to a religious revelation as described in her bio "The Real Bettie Page" (p. 64). This public domain clip also appears in "Bettie Page Pin Up Queen" (Cult Epics).

Three short, obscure Klaw films featuring the usual rope bondage and spanking of underwear-clad models. Filmed in a crude warehouse. No title cards identifying the performers. Could be raw footage that was never properly finished. Funny blooper: at 5:30 you can see the second cameraman on the left side of the frame. Last shot is a freeze-frame of Bettie Page in leopard bikini. That loop has been posted separately. To see that, search for: "Bettie Page: spanked slave girl". This public...

A low-budget, exploitation film presented as a cautionary tale about the evils of white slavery prostitution rings operating in America's cities. Directed by Elmer Clifton who did the marijuana scare film "Assassin of Youth" the same year. Here is the only noteworthy scene in this talky expose. For the first time in a mainstream film, spanking (and later cat-fighting) is shown as a sexual fetish -- in a brothel no less. The madam shows off her special Oriental room where two...

When two underwear-clad black girls fight over the latest copy of Ebony, you just know it's not going to end well. Hard to tell if this is a dominatrix and slave scenario or a lesbian couple into rough stuff. The submissive is repeatedly paddled, bound, slapped, and kicked. This is a bit more harsh than usual for its time. In the '60s, mainstream films totally ignored black women. Fetish films actually practiced equality by showing them dominating and frequently whupping white girls (see my...

Short and sweet example of a late '60s BDSM loop shot on 8 or 16mm film. Features an especially beautiful and well-built blonde and some nice touches. Accessories include a dog collar, ball-gag, quirt (whip) and an Army belt as restraining device. Most of these '50s-'60s shorts are all-female and have a light tone I call "slumber party gone wrong". This tries, and fails, to be more hardcore and menacing by including a guy (we only see his hands), an abduction theme, and a quirt (used...

In the '60s, only underground fetish films actually dared to depict total racial equality. In this case, a dominant black girl opens a can of whup-ass on two white submissives. This smiling ebony beauty is having too much fun spanking the crap out of her two bound captives. (Uncertain when to stop, she looks up at the director twice.) The tone is light, lacking menace. More like a slumber party gone wrong. There's a pillow fight and a classic "turnabout" ending. Whitey more or less...

Seeing the Mick Jagger film "Performance" (1970) in the late '70s, was intrigued by the vintage BDSM clips used in a scene set in a sleazy theater. It only took 30 years to locate the actual stag reel. This has some pretty explicit porn content that had to be edited here. But you can see the entire public domain film on "Vintage Erotica anno 1940" (Cult Epics).
